Roadshow

September 25-28, 2023 (Various Locations around Iowa)

Are you looking to expand FCCLA in the classroom?  Wanting tips to make getting started with your chapter easy this year?  Curious about the Perkins V CTSO requirement and what is expected of you?  Would you like to collaborate with other educators in the state regarding implementation and best practices?

These FREE single-day events will answer those questions and more as representatives from FCCLA will be on hand to assist and demo the components that make up a sustainable intracurricular chapter.

October 18, 2023 (Ames, IA)

Join fellow members to kick off the year with a keynote address, meet with industry in the exhibit fair, compete in mini-Iowa events, and learn the value of community service through workshops and breakout sessions.

October 9-11, 2023 (Washington, DC)

Embark on the Ultimate Journey of leadership training at Capitol Leadership in Washington, D.C.! This immersive event provides in-depth advocacy training, equipping you with the skills and knowledge to communicate effectively with elected officials. Connect with like-minded members and gain insights into making a real difference in your community. Prepare to develop your leadership skills and make your voice heard on important issues!

NFC is a great opportunity to come together with members and advisers across the nation to network, expand your leadership skills, sharpen your talents, and explore National Programs and Career Pathways. 

January 25-27, 2024 (Seattle, WA)

The FCCLA Chapter Adviser Summit (CAS) provides professional development opportunities designed specifically for FCS education teachers looking to excel in the classroom and in FCCLA. The CAS is developed and led by FCCLA’s National Staff and the National Consultant Team. Attendees will receive up-to-date professional development training, share ideas, and network with other chapter advisers from across the nation.

The District Leadership Conferences are leadership events for students that promote leadership growth in a local community

March 17-19, 2024 (Cedar Rapids, IA)

At the State Leadership Conference, members can participate in STAR (Students Taking Action for Recognition), attend sessions, and network with other youth leaders!

June 29-July 3, 2024 (Seattle, WA)

Members from across the country gather together to hear expert speakers, attend leadership sessions, participate in Competitive Events, and gain skills to use in their homes, schools, and communities.
